Description

The P-Series Load Rite pontoon trailer is the latest evolution in Load Rite’s production of highly corrosion-resistant, supremely adjustable, and feature-filled trailers to fulfill the trailering needs of most any pontoon boat design currently available.

Each Load Rite pontoon trailer features a galvanized steel frame for superior anti-corrosion protection and ultimate service life. Steel is an excellent material for boat trailer construction but when unprotected, or even traditionally painted, and exposed to water steel tends to corrode and diminish in strength over time. Galvanization slows that process to a glacial crawl allowing a galvanized steel trailer to outlive a painted counterpart by many lifetimes.

Every Load Rite pontoon trailer is engineered with great features like galvanized torsion axle suspension(1) for a long-lasting, smooth and quite ride. Where brakes are required, Load Rite pontoon trailers come standard with smooth stopping disc brakes which also offer the benefits of being self-cleaning and adjusting. And standard LED lighting. This all means much less maintenance and more time on the water for every Load Rite pontoon trailer owner.

Some other standard features on all Load Rite pontoon models are: full-length, adjustable, carpeted bunks; winchstand with carpeted bunks, two slip-resistant steps, and a safety handrail(2); bead-balanced tires on galvanized wheels; manual winch and tongue jack.

Standard Features

Galvanized Steel Frame: Tubular structural steel, fully hot dip galvanized, provides the ultimate finish for any boat trailer. Tubular design shrouds wiring and brake lines from damage. All machining and welding is performed before galvanizing, so there are no surfaces left unprotected from a boat trailer’s ultimate enemy: corrosion.
Bias-Ply Tires: High quality USDOT-rated tires. Standard on all 5 STARR, pontoon, skiff and jon models, and models 90" wide and narrower. Easily upgraded to radial tires at time of order. Includes KENDACARE – LOADSTAR TIRE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
Balanced Wheels 13" And Larger: CounterAct Wheel Bead Balancing is now included on all 13" and larger wheel assemblies as a standard feature. The wheels dynamically balance during each use.
Dot Rated Tires And Lighting: All Load Rite original equipment tires and lighting components are fully DOT approved.
Pontoon Torsion Axle: All except triaxle models.
Leaf Spring Axles
Greaseable Hubs: Trailer with peace of mind knowing that you’ve inspected the condition and topped off the lubricant level in each hub of your trailer.
Disc Brakes (Where Installed): This trailer is equipped with disc brakes (where installed). Load Rite recommends disc brakes on all wheels where available. Disc brakes are self-adjusting and self-cleaning and require minimal maintenance in order to continue to deliver top performance. Follow maintenance tips in your Owners Manual for more detailed instructions.
Plastic Fenders: Impact-resistant plastic fenders on models with 12" and smaller wheels. Wheels 13" and larger require aluminum fenders.
Led Lighting: LED lights offer far greater reliability than incandescent fixtures. Long-lasting and waterproof design make these lights ideal for any trailer application.
Heat-Shrunk Sealed, Concealed Wiring: Standard equipment on all trailers 17' and longer except welded frame models.
Carpeted Wood Bunks: Marine-grade carpeted wood bunks provide excellent support without marring the hull during loading and unloading.
Pontoon Standard Winch Stand: Standard pontoon winchstand for all models. Assembly includes two integrated steps with non-slip surface and a handrail. Includes two carpeted bunks to protect the pontoon deck.
Pontoon Tongue Jack: Standard on all models.
Winch: A winch is standard equipment on all boat and PWC models. Capacity and features vary by application.
Nmma / Natm Certified: Each year Load Rite trailers undergo a detailed inspection process in order to earn the right to proudly display this certification on products we manufacture.

Options

Spare Tire And Carrier: The most important option to consider, every trailer should have a spare tire readily available. Consult dealer for recommended bracket for individual application.
Radial Tires: Smoother riding and longer wear life than many bias-ply tires. A highly recommended upgrade. Available for 13" and larger wheels.
Aluminum Wheels: A stylish option available with bias-ply or radial tires for most models in 12", 13", 14", 15" and 16" sizes.
Brakes On All Axles Important Safety Issue – Brake Requirements: Brake laws vary by state and require dealers to sell trailers that comply with the brake laws of the state where the trailer will be registered. This is a very important safety issue. For full information contact the appropriate state Motor Vehicle Department. As always, Load Rite recommends brakes on all axles where available.
Stainless Brakelines: A valuable upgrade to any trailer, but especially those to see service in coastal regions with salt water exposure.
Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes: EOH brakes offer electric in-cab control of standard hydraulic disc brakes. Requires in-cab controller and 7-pin round electrical connection to the tow vehicle.
Ladder Winch Stand, Steps And Hand Rail Loop: With the popularity of pontoon boats exploding on the marketplace, Load Rite has developed a 4-step ladder winchstand packed with features to make accessing the pontoon deck from the ground easier and safer for everyone. The bottom step is conveniently located below the top of the tongue, an easy reach for all. Each step is covered with non-skid traction tape to help prevent against slips and falls from wet soles. The curved grab rail provides stability for all ages while climbing steps and transitioning to and from the deck.
Plastic Bunk Covers: These multi-purpose covers provide a smooth surface to help the boat or pontoon to slide easier when launching and loading. They also offer an insulating barrier to help prevent corrosion for metallic hulled craft. Protect your aluminum hull.
2" By 6" Bunks: Marine grade carpet over 2" x 6" dimensional lumber.
Inner Guides (2): Available for all pontoon and tritoon models.
Inner Guides (4): Available for all pontoon and tritoon models.
Drop-Style Tongue Jack: An upgraded jack that provides greater capacities and fast setup with no need to swivel.
Swing Tongue: Applications are limited by trailer capacity and tongue length. Not available on models exceeding 6,000 lbs. capacity. Consult with a dealer.
